Lamb's Longer Leg on Sun 11th Jan 2004

72 startersA genuine AS race, with a proper fell descent in the middle. It's a good wake-up call to remind what sharp races involve. The levy on empty cars was interesting, we had full cars, plenty of bikes, some had trotted up from Hayfield, some from more distant places. Somebody had done the double Marsden/Edale the day before - Pennine must breed them tough.
