A very hard, steep, short course. Cold and showers about, some give in the ground. Once up the steep start, plenty of runnable stuff to the top, then a flying descent getting ever faster, down the steep drop and hope not to crash in the slippery stream. A desperate shortage of youth. NO Ladies younger than Vets, and a pitiful lack of support from the Senior Men to give the Team backing for Tim – a superb 7th, Phil and Dave Taylor. Can the younger element of Dark Peak begin to make a showing in the proper fell events soon?
