110 startersThis is part of the traditional Ambleside Sports. Usually it’s too close to Borrowdale, but different dates attracted a good field. Like Fairfield, though with a different start and finish. Very impressed with their system of prizes, in depth : envelopes were given out as we finished, so no need to wait around for ages afterwards.(of course they were all gone when I rolled home). Lots of interest all around, a recommended time out.DT
