19 startersWith Broomhead moors officially opened out, great to wander over instead of sneaking carefully around. From Bar Dike, checkpoints were Pike Lowe, New Cross, Emlin ? in any order. Many thanks to you for supporting a "last minute" event, especially those who stayed or returned to help with a worrying possibility ? Margery Hill was never meant to be a checkpoint! Some most welcome strong youth about! : My first visit to New Cross, intriguing ? as were those boundary stones. Might well repeat the idea next year, with suggestions for checkpoints from those knowing the moors far better than me. Heavy rain, with swollen rivers, would need a complete route change.Members can click on their name to see a results history
