Another revived race – a most welcome trend. We set off from a park in Ambleside, some steep road and out onto open fell. Hard, boggy, just runnable hills to the trig, and then try to follow the flags back home. Local knowledge proved decisive at the front end – lower down we had plenty to follow. An excellent evening race and worth trying to slip in next year.
The kind of race that we’re mostly lacking round here….
