15 starters, Summer SeriesThe crux to this one is the line from the final checkpoint to the finish. Get it wrong, and you’re stuffed, as both Jack F and Eloise will attest. At the more cheerful end of the field, Tom P gave Tom S something to think about, whilst Tractor Tim R put in another good shift - his fourth bonus in a row. No-one else secured a bonus, although Rosie W, in her first race of the series, registered the best women’s race result this year; and Tom S is, true to form, back at the top of the league standings.
Next week we’re on the banks of the Ladybower again, albeit further to the north, for the always challenging Rowlee Zigzags. See y’all there.
