8 starters, Winter MondaysA fine autumn’s evening greeted seven eager stalwarts plus, to the new RO’s delight, one entire novice, to the first road race of the Winter Mondays Series 25/26. With all due respect to George, whilst he did lower the average age of the field somewhat, the RO’s next key performance indicator will be (core) to attract someone under the age of 50 to the field and, (enhanced) to welcome a female runner to the fold. Nicky has promised to make a guest appearance at some point over the winter, but it would be great to see others of more local pedigree too.
Next up is Seal Edge, when torches will certainly be needed for the latter stages of the race.
