In Rivelin's vale, on February's eve, eleven souls did gather, their quests to achieve. From Tha Sportsmen's door, they embarked with zeal, seeking landmarks hidden, their fate to seal.
Tom Saville surged forward, swift as the breeze, conquering the course with effortless ease. Kristian Groom and Simon Mills pursued with might, their spirits unwavering, eyes fixed on the light.
Lewis Roberts and Sean Davenport pressed on, their determination steadfast, even as the night grew long. Jack Foxall and Benjamin Hunter faced the trail's demand, navigating the challenges, united they did stand.
Yet, not all journeys met a destined end; Chris Lawson and Jim Paxman faced trials they couldn't transcend. And Tim Rutter, with misfortune's cruel mock, found himself acquainted with an unyielding rock.
Through trials and triumphs, the race did unfold, each runner's story a testament bold. In Rivelin's embrace, their legends reside, etched in the landscape, where memories abide.
