35 starters, Dark Peak Races LeagueThe 35 runners were blessed with what felt like a rare day of golden winter sunshine. Tom Saville, making a bold attempt to visit all 27 contols, managed 24 but lost one for being a minute late. Tim Rutter's dog was 1st dog and pulled Tim, who did the navigation into 2nd place. Emily Barnett, 4th overall, was 1st woman and 1st Barnett. Maxwell Groom was the 1st of the U17 runners. Also of note was M75 Peter Gorvett's run in 11th place.
My thanks to Tom Westgate for his help on the start finish line and to Olwyn Paxman for doling out the Mulled Wine and Mince Pies.
Roy Small will back at the helm next year. I hope!
