2026 AGM
The final agenda for the 2026 AGM is now available here. If you wish to raise anything else, please feel free to do so in the AOB section.
Unfortunately there were a number of clashes with this years event with many runners on the Trigger and Round Sheffield Run. Still a hardy bunch turned out for a tour of the plateau, most fared well other than Mr Frost whose first crossing resulted in him facing a view of Lose Hill....
For the second year in a row I managed to be in no fit state to run although this year at least made it out to watch the proceedings. It was also nice to see a number of club runners finishing the Trigger and some tales afterwards of the Moz's racers thoroughly confusing the Triggerers as they came out of nowhere pelting down the final descent. There was much debate about the start times which I will try and remember to revise next year as it would be nice to have a more bunched start for the whippets.
The race was won in a fine time by young Finlay Grant who was 'having an easy one'. For a youth he is already getting to know Kinder worryingly well! Strong performances throughout the rest of the field and nice to see a few DNFers showing up to enjoy what Kinder has to offer and not worrying too much about the whole thing. The race's namesake himself made an appearance 'It's f@!&ing grim up there' he muttered to me on his way back down in to Edale.
