A great night out on the fells with Eua storming round ,well ahead of the field. His time would be up there with any winners over the years since the race began in 1984. Super run by Tim 060 ,who was 3^rd back in 1985 and still gracing the race .Excellent run by Willy and Ukranian Yana in her first fell race. The big difference between races now and 30 years ago is that most of the runners were under 40 years old ,so every one set off together and were close at the finish an example being the club champs 1987 of 86 runners over the triple crossing 62 were inside 1-40 and only 2 runners were over 2 hours .Its likely that most runners are over 50/60 and hence the field is well strung out.

Tom Westgate will be taking over the R.O role from next year and Tom Saville the Crookstone summer/Winter again from 2023.
