What a grand evening, pretty cold at the start but with a tail wind the early starters trundled up the hill to the cabin before the torches were lit, by the time we had barely past the New Cross the pack led by Neil were chasing us down. The first 5 broke the hour, and the record went, but the star of the show was Fi who led home the women's quartet, with birthday girl Sarah, Penny and Lucy a few minutes adrift.
Despite Lewis and Barry wandering around the runners are beginning to know the route and it will be 'rested' for a couple of years with the previous location of Fairholmes likely to replace the start venue.
