We had a very different day from last year, with hazy sunshine and little breeze rather than a howling gale and rain. Despite this, times were not too different, owing to the slushy snow cover on much of the route. Many thanks to all involved in making the day run so smoothly. I had little to do except pose in my tracksuit and eat pies :)
