Crookstone Crashout on Sun 22nd Dec 2013
Dave Allen re-appeared at some unknown time with uncertainty where he went - perhaps Ash needs to know ! Hugh Cotton did cp1/2/3 trig and knoll good effort and Tony Maycraft and Jim Paxman also started. This was an excellent turn out for the 60th running of the Crashout, and the course did not disappoint - the contour between Holly trees particularly interesting in the wind. With 3 big climbs it was inevitable that only the strong would charge up the hill from the youth hostel. Excellent runs from Simon and John who came steaming past the early starters and Tim who was welll clear in the eager bunnies off at 9-30
