20 startersRace 5 was Birchin Surprise - Mark Harvey as Course Designer has designed a course with everything but fast flat running! It had steep hills, woods, heather, rocks, bogs (did anyone avoid falling over?) and route choice. Neil Northrop won easily and lowered everyone's chances of a bonus. Keith has managed to stay top of the Leader Board!
I overheard Andy Harmer saying it was the best race of the series so far - so I'd better get my planning head on for Broomhead Baffler and Strines Struggle!
