Fine runs from Rhys and Judith on a very fine day.  A number of private battles in the DP mid-field too, with Ashley refusing Nicky a gel as she cruised past him somewhere in the last third of the race, Dave and Paul E belying their lack of racing this year to put in very decent times, but with Adam sadly turning an ankle off Dale Head, when he was hard on the heels of Tony H.  The best was however saved for a little later in the field, where Whispering Death Ashton snuck up on Martha in the finishing field to sneak victory.  The less said about my own gastric troubles the better, but the very sad (looking forward to the email, Lewis) might wish to study the track carefully to identify the sites of my two comfort breaks.  Lewis takes away the team prize again chiefly, it has to be owned, by virtue of having four counters in his fine silver estate.  See you all next time at the Pendle Cloughs.
