17 startersThe eleventh race of the series was Birchin Surprise devised by Mark Harvey. There was only one CP - Fairbrook Naze stones (SK096 898) Tim Hawley won in a close contest with Ashley and Greg. There was close discussion beforehand as to route choice but many lines taken in reality. Special mention must go to Dave McGuiness seen trotting down the Snake road into the car park pretending he wasn't with us!
