80 starters, Local LeagueWell the rain alternated between chucking it down and monsoon, which strangely added to the race, making potholes shin deep puddles and the stream crossing a knee deep wade. Yes the road section in the middle was still a dirge, but you could look forward to the 5 field descent to finish on a high. Even more special was that the Moores cleaned up in the v50 category, so the sideboard is full of a rather splendid fruit basket and chocolate. Austin had a top race to finish third, enabling him to stock his beer cellar up a little.
