The third race was Broomhead Bash. 23 intrepid runners set off on this challenging course. Neil Northrop could be seen disappearing over the brow but Tom maintained his good form and there was only a couple of minutes in it at the finish.
Before the start of the race Keith Holmes informed Nicky Spinks that her sump cover was hanging off and looking up from his map with a smile Dr Dave Sykes said "You need another operation".
