52 startersAn enjoyable event taking in unfamiliar routes west of the Hayfield/Glossop road. Two courses, long with 7 checkpoints and short with 5, to be taken in any order. Slightly reduced 1:25,000 map colour prints (but green RoWs along black boundaries sometimes difficult to see). A couple of checkpoints not exactly in the right place and hard to work out which areas of non-access land were acceptable and which not, but with plenty of soup and scones etc included in the £6 entry fee and a good atmosphere in The Grouse afterwards, no-one was worrying.
