Peak Forest on Sun 19th Jul 1992

A record turnout (?) for this fairly informal Sunday moring
race from a Methodist church. The fame of the wonderful cake
stalls in the church hall must be spreading. Five minutes before
the start it was cold and raining and I was wishing I'd brought a
cagoule and my Walshes. Five minutes into the race and the sun was
shining, I was overheating and was glad of a pair of road shoes on
the hard ground!
