A good turnout for Ennerdale despite lots of other races and a bad weather forecast. Most of the bad weather had moved south and for much of the race it was clear but with a cold wind. The rocks were extremely slippery and it was nice to reach Haycock and some grassy running at last. The clag came down over Green Gable and Pillar resulting in a few navigational errors!
