128 starters, Local LeagueA late Friday night led to a late Saturday morning and no possibility of making the 11am start at Cressbrook. So it was a longer drive to new territory for the 2pm start at Bollington. A big turnout for an inaugral race with 130 runners. Three climbs with three steep descents made a good course. Surprisingly no water at the finish, but a cup of tea instead. A hearty meal followed the prize-giving. All part of the Bollington Festival and they intend to hold the race next year. Maybe i'll double up with Cressbrook...
