238 startersDifficult to believe this was mid May. I gratefully accepted the offer of some gloves shortly before I started. The start was delayed 30 minutes but noon seemed sure why (the original 7:00pm start wasn\'t a misprint in the last newsletter). Victories for Alistair, it\'s rarely that Andy Trigg gets beaten by over a minute in a six mile race, and Jenny, 2.5 minutes ahead of Jacky in second. Always popular with Dark Peakers, 56 turned up this time, almost as many as ran the club championships!M P.
