Nine Edges Race on Sat 15th Sep 2007
24 starters, Local LeagueWell organised event to raise funds for Edale Mountain Rescue. Run from Fairholmes to the Robin Hood at Baslow, prizes for some, t-shirt & a pint for everyone then a lift back to Fairholmes. 64 entries, but only 24 of them runners, the rest either walked or walked and climbed a route on each of the edges. A nice day out, shame it clashed with so many other events, I got a train over to Lantern Pike afterwards and got there to see the prizegiving for the Series and the award for the bloke with the biggest plums.JF
