34 startersThe race this year was run on the \"High Fire Risk\" route, which prevented us from cutting right at the top of Fulwood Stile Lane. Several runners, however, took in bits of both the old and the new routes, thereby getting in more climb and distance than either route on its own.
In a change from the normal procedure the prize was awarded to the \"average\" runner (based on first and last finish times), which this year was Shaun Germany.
