75 startersThe weather forecast was horrendous, with gale force winds and rain due. On the paths through the slate quarries we were either freewheeling uphill or battling into the gales – depending on whether it was a zig or a zag.After Pen- y-Pass the bad weather route up the Pyg track had to be followed: the organizers obviously worried about runners being blown off Lliwedd. Fortunately most of us were safely down before the wet really set in.
