131 startersThis is a good race from Ogden Water above Halifax, worth the journey if there?s a full car. Don?t know where we went, thankfully it was all flagged. The pub to start and finish. Snow was lying, frozen paths and tussocks with a very cold wind. The organiser had made it abundantly clear that full body cover was needed, yet two people had to be disqualified for still going out without a top. There should be no need for kit checks, it is up to the runner to take the kit as expected and take full cover to every medium and long event.
