Buckden Pike on Sat 17th Jun 2006
What a scorcher !! Very warm breathless conditions for this steep (start/finish) race up to Buckden Pike and back. 106 runners lined up for the 25th anniversary of the race that was won by an impressive looking Rob Jebb. Dave Taylor put in a super performance and truly flying final descent (I’m told) to secure 2nd place. Sally Newman took the ladies race, and one runner was awarded with a £25 gift voucher for completing all 25 of the races !!D.Unwin
