2025 will be the 7th running of the Dark Peak Christmas Pub Run!
You are welcome to join at any point along the route for any number of pubs. For those silly enough, the full route starts in Hathersage and meanders back into Sheffield taking in 7 pubs (and some whisky stops) along the way. Traditionally the full route finishes in Crookes but people tend to disband from The Sportsman to head their separate ways home.
The pub run shall be ‘party pace’ with no one getting left behind. Though natural splits will occur and a staggered arrival at pubs (pun intended) does take pressure off the bar staff a little.
Public transport out to your desired start point is possible, if a bit unreliable!

Appropriate gear for the winter fells and running in the dark will be required, we’ve had snow before so don’t just rely on your beer jacket!

Timings will depend on public transport but the last few years we have departed The Scotsman Pack between 17:15 and 17:30.
