Compasses were in heavy use over the weekend when Ian Winterburn completed the BG in 23:44, starting at 6:30pm on Friday night. On Saturday 19th July Dave Lockwood and Alan Yates completed the Tan Hill Inn to Kirkstone Inn run in 17hrs 40 mins. The route crosses 18 summits in 45 miles with 11,000ft of climb. Congratulations to them on the successful attempt in foul weather conditions.
