The Club Championship is just over six weeks away (Saturday 23rd November). The venue has yet to be confirmed but should be somewhere in the peak district, with heather, rocks, bog and possibly path. As usual it’s a handicapped race with the faster runners chasing down the rest of us. Read more
Congratulations to Loxley Crawshaw and Helen Davis (Steel City Striders) on becoming members of the Bob Graham Club at the weekend. Whilst the celebrations were still going on at Moot Hall, Tom Saville and Oli Johnson arrived, having completed the Bob Graham round together in an amazing 17hrs 25m.
The big 3 24hour challenge season has started today with successful completions of the Bob Graham by Dark Peak members Lova Chechik (19h25m) and Ben ‘Win hill Everester’ Kelsey (21h55m).
The need for the club to wear its registered club colours in champs races and team events has been reaffirmed from on high. The ONLY registered vest for men or women is ‘peat brown with purple and yellow hoops’. If we do not conform there is a chance of disqualification. Read more
