Export resultNotwithstanding the suspiciously last minute withdrawal of route designer Simon Dixon from the fray, this proved a popular first running of his ‘Not the Crashout’, with plenty of variation in lines taken, and a distinct preference amongst participants for an anti-clockwise circuit. Somewhat to the series organiser’s dismay, Tom Westgate chose the same clockwise circuit, stole a march on almost every line, and all too predictably left the S.O. for dead on the final descent. Meanwhile, at the pointy end, Oli J was not able to overhaul Tom S, who extended his series lead by some considerable additional distance. Good also to welcome Martyn Jones back to the hill, albeit for now in a 'walking only' capacity.
