The proposed route is from a previous year and the calendar can’t be bothered updating it, variations always possible following a conflab in the hut. Out via the 3 Merry Lads / top path and then down via Headstone. From here across the farmers fields to Rod Moor trig point, Royds clough, then back. We can then probably go down Onksley lane and take a reverse of Rivelin Landmarks up onto Wyming brook drive.
For those wanting a shorter run, from Rod Moor trig, head ESE across access land to join the road, and head along this a short way to pick up the path to Swinglee farm.
