The longest route of the series. Start/finish Bolsterstone Church. Down Yewtrees Lane, across Broomhead Bridge and turn right up Moor Lane. Turn left at junction, climbing Mortimer Road, and left again at Bar Dyke junction past Cowell House on Penistone Road. Turn right at crossroads down Smallfield Lane, right again along Agden Side Road, and final right on to Mortimer Road to climb back past Bar Dyke, before descending to Moor Lane junction where you retrace your footsteps to Bolsterstone Church Full route on map.
Start times between 18:00 (older and infirm) and 18:30 (whippets). Special dispensation for earlier starts for over 70’s.
High viz vest, head torch and mobile phone compulsory.
