The British Fell and Hill Relays were staged by Meirionnydd Running Club in the hills to the east of Cadair Idris yesterday and a very fine event it was too. Overcast skies with the cloud clear of the summits and a light breeze made for perfect running conditions. The climbs on leg 1, 2 and leg 4 looked brutal.
Dark Peak fielded eight teams who between them collected a 1st, two 2nd, two 4th, a 5th and a 7th placing. Our Men’s Open B team had an unfortunate DNF when Felix Watts was injured on leg 3. Young Carshare wishes him a full and speedy recovery.
