The second running of the Bole Hills Bad Boy saw the record smashed by 6 minutes. Tom confided in me that he was only planning on jogging round! May be he legged it because Richard was hot on his heels, beating his own time by just under 9 minutes. This was the year of glamorous couples with the event being augmented by the performances of Fawcett/Mills and Kent/Capleton.Thanks again to Martin Payne for marshalling and first aid (not required) at Houndkirk. I am toying with the idea of making this a Saturday morning event (followed by lunch in The Sportsman) and adding the Bole Hill at Ringinglow but this would involve negotiating access permissions and perhaps some negotiations with calendar.
