Summer Series (2) on Mon 23rd Apr 2018
20 startersThe second race in the 2018 Summer Series was the Broomhead Bash. Although it wasn't summer conditions with the wind and blowing rain, at least it wasn't claggy! Getting a good line from Fox Stones to the footbridge was key to surviving the undergrowth and taking the higher line to the wall corner proved the same. Good to see 20 runners battling it out and comparing battle scars afterwards!!
Neil Northrop was 1st back with Pez Holda 2nd. Thanks to those runners setting off early; it seemed to work with everyone finishing together. So we'll continue with having a 6.30pm and a 7pm Start.
