15 startersSummer Series Race 6 was Tour of Blacks. Another competitive race up front with Dave, Tim and Rupert sprinting off up Blacks out of sight! It was navigation and route choice that paid off in the end though with Tim being 1 minute ahead by the finish. Great to see the competition hotting up throughout the field though with Andy (15th 185.61) and Graham (16th 185.60) having a very amusing conversation afterwards!
It was a tense half hour waiting for non finisher Simon Bachsich; last seen heading down the spur leading to a very deep gorge. The search party were just about to be dispatched when he appeared; probably less worse off than we were having been eaten by midges while waiting.
