A record 35 turn out for this year’s Springvale Spirals with a large number of Dark Peakers trying their fell legs on the hills of Sheffield. A couple cam unstuck on the navigation – someone always does – and some seem to eat up the hills compared to flatter runs, e.g. Kris Groom. No new records except for Paul Keen smashing his over 60 record by 6 minutes! It was the youngsters who excelled at the front though, hopefully some will end up joining DPFR like so many of us in the past.
