40 startersGood run by Neil, although 3 minutes down on last year, which seemed the case for many, possibly affected by the weekend racing. Excellent runs by Gavin and Tim over 50s ,showing the young lads the way.
13 runners had already done the bus route on Sunday as well as several 3 peaks runners - well done. For those surprised to see me struggling on the climbs over the last 2 weeks, there has appeared to be an explanation; my pulse at rest in the surgery and hospital varies from 150 to 50, so until further medical direction it looks like the big hills will have to wait.
Hopefully this will not stop me plotting further challenging routes, and the summer Crookstone is being worked on.
