The clue's in the name really; more x-country than fell, but if the pea-souper which enveloped us had cleared at any point, my guess is the views would have been pleasant enough for such southern climes. David, Jim and I judged it worth the trip (and not only for the relatively generous haul of local league points), and a good opportunity to catch up with DP's southern brethren who were again out in force.
