Local LeagueA raid to the far side of the Peak by Beerling, Bourne and Bradbury, where they met Reed and two local Batts who were also representing DPFR. Pleasant enough race. Once the short steep section to ‘White Nancy’ (a monument) was surmounted the main challenge was negotiating all the kissing gates ( i.e. not being on the receiving end of a kiss akin to the Glaswegian variety) . Effort rewarded by long views across the Cheshire plain.
