An excellent course set this year by Gavin, with a bit for everyone. Also not forgetting Roy who set the start times - very well I think, but then perhaps I'm biased.

Congratulations to Lynn for winning the handicap race, also to Matt Speake and Karen Davison for two excellent runs as fastest man and lady.

We had been given the route well in advance so many people had managed to find time for a recce, not all of us followed the route we had planned, even then. However, on the day, in clear conditions, I suspect nobody got lost, although some doubted that they made the correct route choice afterwards.

Thanks from me go to the runners who supplied gps tracks, a record 8 this year. They show what an excellent leg the long run from Grinah Stones was, with much variation and crossing over and back between runners. My suspicion is that Greg's route was close to optimum, but I don't have much to back that up!
