10 startersThe latest summer series race was devised by Steve Storey who was there but didn\'t run. Ten of us did however and we had a good little race. The weather was sunny but not too hot, the ground was dry and with a slight breeze it all added up to pleasant running conditions. The course looked straightforward and in principle was but there was scope, particularly in the first half for some inventive lines, some of which worked and some didn\'t. It all helped the race be a little less predictable then it could have been.RH
