The race is run on a combination of football field, track, farm fields, stiles, a reservoir wall and one short descent. Then you are back to the start and have to go round again. I don\'t know whether Roy will be going back again but I shall give this one a miss in future.

134 startersMy first mistake was to turn up early for this race - one week and 40 minutes to be precise. The second mistake was to turn up at all. The only other Dark Peaker I saw there was Roy Marlow who remarked how strange it was to turn up for a race almost on the doorstep and find only 2 of us there.The race is run on a combination of football field, track, farm fields, stiles, a reservoir wall and one short descent. Then you are back to the start and have to go round again. I don\'t know whether Roy will be going back again but I shall give this one a miss in future.
