It was a grand night - cold and frozen on the exposed ground. Selecting pairs before the night would have helped, 1st rejects (Dave/John) survived well despite assaults to their self-esteem and sensitivities. Tim H selected a ringer, who stuck with him for glory.

There may be scope for further night races, solo or in pairs, It was magnificent to watch the teams descend into Abbey Brook and thanks to all who made my 60th a grand do, Hopefully ten years on the course will be steeper as I slow down!
