133 startersBeing one of the \"easier\" fell races in the calendar does not detract from this being a hot little number. With it\'s scenic location, good pubs, easy parking and plenty of fellow Dark Peakers just go. Numbers were slightly down on last year probably due to most of these runners decimated by hypothermia queuing for a unique results system. Needless to say all has been remedied with an investment in a state of the art timer and with prizes presented by Longstone\'s own Lord Hattersley or Roy as 1 prefer to call him. What more can be said?
Oh, the race; it was fast, very fast.
