Janet another excellent result, last seen jogging up the hill where most of us were walking, and catching up fast on the final drop. And a superb Ladies Team - 2nd, one pt ahead of Keswick!

As expected, short and very fast. A dash up the lane, and the field spread out to climb Parlick. Runnable tracks then to the top, gather the pace and a flying last grassy descent. Rain in the air, unlike at Sheffield. Well organised and a credit to Mike and Preston Harriers. Lloyd was 7th, Mike Egner 2nd V50 - just 2 seconds down, I was 1st V60. The results page has the Men as 5th, Vets- I can't work out - the V50's are extremely close.Janet another excellent result, last seen jogging up the hill where most of us were walking, and catching up fast on the final drop.
