Not a bad race, but too much relatively flat track to get from the school up to Bronte Cottage. "Struggle" was appropriate; it seemed to get steeper and steeper as it headed up Stanage Edge. Rain on the ascent and along the edge to High Neb left a trail of soggy numbers along the route – I hope the marshals collected them.
